 "love harmonicas..." 2009-08-24
By John Fell (pryor, oklahoma)
has a good sound for the price... of course harmonicas are pretty cheap but i would buy it again if needed a replacment...

"OK toy, less good for serious learning" 2009-06-05
By PhilipOfOregon (Western North America)
I'm still learning. The 10 blow needed extra effort to sound; bending other notes takes some work. It's OK if you're honking through "Oh Susanna".

You can take it apart and adjust the reed gaps, but one cover screw was stripped & needed replacement.

If you really want to learn to play, you probably want to spend more & get something like a Hohner Special 20 or a Lee Oskar Major Diatonic.

 "Don't be cheap" 2010-04-03
By Louis V. Garuccio
I chose this as my first harmonica, and I got what I paid for. This harmonica broke on the third day. Specifically, the 7th hole would not blow for anything. Don't waste your time. Now I have to get wait and order something else while I was just learning some things. Extremely disappointed.

 "Great instrument" 2009-04-06
By KH (San Diego)
Great instrument for my son at 19 months. He can't annoy us with the nice sound even when he keeps playing monotone notes over and over ;)

I don't really know much about harmonicas, but this is my first one, and so far, I love it! (and the price is reasonable too)

 "good for 4yr old" 2009-06-12
By L. Garrett (NJ, USA)
I bought this for my 4yr old after a "toy" harmonica turned my son's face red from the cheap paint job. It has a clear, big sound and really holds up.

"Come on people, this thing is a piece of crap" 2009-05-28
By Mellowin Man
I can't believe the Hohner company makes complete junk like this. The only thing this harp is good for is being thrown in the fire. My A harp has been played only a few hours, and it already has three bad holes! If you want to sound like a complete idiot who can't play, then this is the harp for you. Please don't go any lower than the Hohner Blues Harp, and believe me this is WAY lower.

You are never going to be any good blowing into this torture device. It will do an excellent job of annoying your family, and making your dog suicidal, however, so if you like that, get one in every key.

"okay harmonica - faulty holes" 2009-03-30
By mikeyg (USA)
Good for beginnners, but leaks a lot of air and mine is very difficult to get a good clear draw on 8 and 9.

Maybe I've got a bad one, but not impressed.

 "it's good." 2009-03-28
By Eddy (Usa)
it works fine, sounds great and is all in all worth it. you will want to buy a song book or lessons book because most online places either charge pretty high for lessons. or don't give enough.

 "Fun and good quality" 2009-03-17
By Redfox (North Carolina, USA)
I am enjoying this product and I have even learned part of a song. sounds great.

 "Good Harmonica, Period." 2009-01-15
By chuck3011
I keep seeing reviews how some of the less expensive harmonicas are either "Good for Beginners" or "Good for the Money". I would like to say that though this is not one of the higher priced ones, it is a GOOD harmonica, period. I can easily bend my notes, it is clear, and it doesn't come with the one "faulty hole" that many of the lower priced harmonicas have. This is an excellent, quality harmonica.
