The sound is perfect for a cheap ukulele, has great response on the pickup, mellow sound and easy to carry everywhere. The construction and materials are good quality but the pickup equalizer came broken in the box (the screws over rotate in the wood, so the pickup system is loose and I had to glue it back in place). Maybe the screws weren't so good for this kind of wood (eastern mahogany). Overall, a great toy!
